Week 5
Electronics Production
This week wasn’t much on a creative side, more on just getting ourselves familiar with some electronic parts, soldering and cutting out a PCB using a small CNC machine. At first we needed to choose the project we were gonna “solder” and I chose to do a blinking light on a universal PCB.
“Blikač”
We’ve received a set of electric components and a scheme to connnect them. At first I’ve soldered all the components to the PCB which was surprisingly easy, I think I did a very good job there and the problem was consistency of size of the soldering joints. The much bigger trouble was connecting them using wires underneath the PCB. Wires were very short and wanted to go anywhere but between the two component pins.

After soldering everything worked from first turning it on. I think there is a problem that the blinks aren’t split in half between red and green LED, no matter how I turn the trimmer. But the main thing that it works 👍.
